This policy explains what personal data we collect when you browse this site, request a quotation or place an order, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the rights you have over it — under the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR and applicable United States privacy law.

1. Who we are
USA Peptide Vendor LLC (“USA Peptide Vendor”, “we”, “us”) operates this website and supplies research materials to laboratories. Our registered address is 1201 N Market St, Suite 400, Wilmington, DE 19801, US. For privacy questions and data requests, contact support@usapeptidevendor.com.
We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Where you order from within the EU or UK, our European distribution operations process order data as described in this policy.
2. Data we collect
We collect the minimum data needed to quote, ship and support a research order:
- Identity and contact data — name, institutional email address, telephone number, organisation name and role.
- Order and delivery data — peptides and kit sizes requested, delivery address, country, VAT/EORI or purchase-order references, and order notes.
- Communication data — the content of enquiry forms, emails and messages, including technical questions about handling and storage.
- Transaction data — payment method type, payment confirmation references and invoice records. Card numbers are handled by our payment processors; we do not store full card details.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and referring source, collected only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Cookie data — see section 4. Our order-list feature stores your selection locally in your own browser (local storage key
usapv.cart.v1) and that data is not transmitted to us until you submit an order request.
We do not collect special-category data, and we do not ask for or store health information. Please do not send medical details in enquiry messages.
3. Why we use your data, and the lawful basis
| Purpose | Lawful basis (GDPR/UK GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Responding to quotations and enquiries | Performance of a contract or steps taken at your request; legitimate interests in supporting research customers. |
| Fulfilling orders, invoicing and shipping | Performance of a contract; legal obligation for tax and customs records. |
| Analytical documentation and batch traceability | Legitimate interests in supplying accurate certificates and maintaining quality records. |
| Service and product emails you opt into | Consent, withdrawable at any time via the unsubscribe link. |
| Site analytics and fraud prevention | Consent for non-essential cookies; legitimate interests for security and abuse prevention. |
4. Cookies, local storage and analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep your order list working and to protect forms against abuse. These are required for the site to function. Analytics cookies, where enabled, are only set after you consent and are used in aggregated form to understand which guides and products laboratories find useful.
You can clear stored data at any time through your browser settings; clearing local storage removes your saved order list. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect the ability to browse or order.
5. Who we share data with
- Carriers and logistics partners — name, address, phone and email for delivery, plus commercial documentation required by customs.
- Payment processors and banks — to collect payment and prevent fraud.
- Email and support tooling — to receive and reply to enquiries and order requests.
- Analytics providers — aggregated, consent-based usage measurement.
- Professional advisers and authorities — where required by law, tax, customs or a valid legal request.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share your details with advertising networks for cross-context behavioural advertising.
6. International transfers
We operate warehouses in the United States and the European Union, so order data may be processed in either region. Where personal data moves from the EEA or UK to the United States, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK Addendum and EU Standard Contractual Clauses with our processors, together with technical measures including encryption in transit.
7. How long we keep data
- Enquiries and quotations — 24 months from last contact, so we can trace technical advice given for a specific lot.
- Order, invoice and shipping records — 7 years, to meet tax, customs and quality-record obligations.
- Marketing subscriptions — until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so we do not re-add you.
- Analytics data — aggregated and retained for a maximum of 26 months.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive it in a portable format, withdraw consent for marketing, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. California residents have corresponding rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.
To exercise any right, email support@usapeptidevendor.com with your request and the email address used on your order. We respond within 30 days and may ask for verification that will not require you to create an account.
9. Security
We use TLS encryption for all traffic, access controls and least-privilege permissions on order systems, and encrypted storage for payment references. Payment card data is processed by PCI-DSS compliant providers and never stored on our servers. If a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify affected individuals and any relevant regulator without undue delay as required by law.
10. Research audience
This website and our products are intended for laboratory research professionals and are not directed at consumers or anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes are published on this page with a new “last updated” date, and where the change affects order processing we will notify active customers by email.
